What clients are saying

A talk by Dr. Luana made such an impression that we immediately reached out to see if she could give a similar one to our audience, and she did not disappoint.

She takes audience engagement to a whole new level! She used creative techniques to “listen” and respond to our audience’s experiences. A gifted public speaker, Dr. Luana merges her passion for her subject matter with ample experience and scientific research to offer useful insights that are relevant to every person in any audience. Her presentation was dynamic and interactive, responding in real-time to audience perceptions and questions. We learned unique and sustainable brain health techniques to PACE ourselves when running the COVID-19 marathon, in addition to much more! She makes it look so easy but those of us who’ve done it before know that it isn’t!

We are so grateful that she took the time out of her busy schedule to spend with us. Our attendees raved about her talk!

Harvard 4 Public Health

Dr. Luana was a fantastic partner who offered tremendous insight to both our managers and employees on wellbeing. Her presentations were thoughtful and relatable, and offered our employees practical tools and ideas to build mental resilience. She helped build a toolkit for our managers to think about and better understand the stress and anxiety our employees may experience as a result of the pandemic. Thank you, Dr. Luana for your partnership!”

Dr. Marques did a presentation for the Harvard Club of the United Kingdom in the middle of the pandemic, just before the third lockdown. The talk was entitled “Building Emotional Resilience during the COVID Pandemic.” In spite of a huge demand for her services from other groups, Dr. Marques was willing to accommodate our club.

The presentation itself was both entertaining and informative. It was a real shot in the arm for our club’s members. Dr. Marques’ approach was to offer “skills, not therapy”. She focused on giving her audience the tools required to deal with anxiety. Using the app Poll Everywhere, she managed to engage the over 100 attendees in an interactive virtual presentation. No mean feat in itself. Dr. Marques has a magnetic presence and her slides are both informative and aesthetically pleasing. This was by far one of the best virtual speaking events that HCUK had hosted over the past year.

Thinking that the topic would be of interest to the parents of teenagers, I introduced Dr. Marques to St. Paul’s Girls’ School (a leading independent girls’ school in London). A couple of months after the HCUK presentation, Dr. Marques agreed to do another presentation for SPGS as part of their mental well-being week. This time she tailored her presentation to cater to parents of teenagers. Again, the presentation was very well-received.
